NGO VESUVIO invites candidates for the Grundtvig International Workshop "Handmade Jewellery".

Workshops „ Handmade Jewellery Workshop ” took place in Rzeszowie from 14 July to 21 July 2012.

16 participants came from 8 countries: Italy, Turkey, Estonia, Belgium, Latvia, Germany, Greece, Finland. It was handamde jewellery of plastic mass and artistic clay with all jeweller's accessories. The jewellery was made in individual stages: projects on the paper, creation from the mass, cutting out, drying, polishing by the abrasive paper, painting, varnishing, joining of all elements, final exhibition. The first stage had the educational-theoretical character: Power Point Presentations: 1/ history of jewellery from past centuries till nowadays, 2/ the stages of making the jewellery with the explanations, 3/ electronic album made of jewellery in year 2011 as a inspiration for participants.

The results of the workshops: each participant made a few pieces of jewellery: necklaces, beads, ear-rings, bracelets, pendants, medallions in various colors, shapes, in different styles, expressing in this way own creativity, aesthetical sensibility, artistic skills, own way of perception of the trends of the fashion. Activities reinforced very large interest among learners and staff and developed basic competences in the teaching of adults: personal- the belief in own strengths and skills, the expression of creativity; educational: creative thinking , manual abilities, the idea of lifelong learning; social: communication in foreign language in international group, mutual collaboration, group work.

The workshop was supported by educational visits in Ethnographical museum, where learners got to know the various models of jewellery from the previous ages, visit in Wawel Castle, in Sukiennice with the great collection of amber jewellery. The multimedia presentation was the cultural supplement about Rzeszów, the collection of brochures, promotional materials about Rzeszów were given to the participants as well sightseeing tours of the Rzeszów city were organized by VESUVIO staff.

The participants left Poland very happy and satisfied of the great unique own jewellery and generally were very thankful of the whole logistic organization of workshops

Warsztaty „ Handmade Jewellery Workshop ” odbyły się w Rzeszowie w dniach od 14 lipca do 21 lipca 2012.

16 uczestników pochodziło z 8 krajów: Włochy, Turcja, Estonia, Belgia, Łotwa, Niemcy, Grecja, Finlandia. Tematyką warsztatów była ręcznie wykonywana biżuteria z masy plastycznej oraz gliny artystycznej w połączeniu ze wszystkimi jubilerskimi akcesoriami do wykończenia. Biżuterię wykonywano w poszczególnych etapach: projektowanie na papierze, modelowanie z masy, wyżynanie, wycinanie, suszenie, polerowanie papierem ściernym, malowanie, lakierowanie, łączenie wszystkich elementów, wystawa. Pierwsze działania warsztatowe miały charakter edukacyjno-teoretyczny w formie kilku prezentacji Power Point: 1/ historia biżuterii od zamierzchłych czasów po dzień dzisiejszy, 2/ etapy wykonywania biżuterii wraz z objaśnieniami, 3/ elektroniczny album z wykonanej biżuterii w roku 2011.

Rezultaty warsztatów: każdy z uczestników wykonał wiele sztuk biżuterii: naszyjniki, korale, kolczyki, bransoletki, wisiorki, medaliony w różnych kolorach, kształtach, w innych stylach wyrażając tym samym swoją kreatywność, wrażliwość estetyczną, artyzm, swój sposób postrzegania trendów mody. Zajęcia cieszyły się bardzo dużym zainteresowaniem, rozwijały wśród słuchaczy 3 podstawowe kompetencje w nauczaniu dorosłych: osobiste- wiara we własne siły i umiejętności, poznanie siebie samego i wyrażenie swoich twórczych ekspresji; edukacyjne: myślenie twórcze, elastyczność twórcza, zdolności manualne, idea uczenia się przez całe życie; społeczne: komunikacja werbalna i wzajemna współpraca.

Podstawowym zajęciom towarzyszyły działania wspierające, które inspirowały, jak wizyty edukacyjne w Muzeum Etnograficznym, gdzie słuchacze poznali różne modele biżuterii z poprzednich wieków, wizyta na Wawelu, w Sukiennicach z kolekcją bursztynowej biżuterii. Kulturowym uzupełnieniem była multimedialna prezentacja o Rzeszowie, kolekcja folderów, materiałów promocyjnych o Rzeszowie, zwiedzanie miasta.

Uczestnicy wyjechali niezwykle zadowoleni ze swoich produktów i ogólnie z całej logistycznej organizacji warsztatów.
